As balustrades need to be manufactured on site for best results contact us prior to or at the start of the building process. Balustrades need to be manufactured on unpainted timber stringers. Bear walls with only gib attached to them and prior to any paint, wall paper, or carpet finishing’s. Once we have finished manufacturing of the balustrade the painting and wall papering can be completed. During this time the balustrade will be finished of in the workshop and sent away to be powdercoated your colour of choice. After painting and wall papering is finished the powdercoated balustrades are then installed, carpet can then be installed over top of any base plates that may be required.
Powdercoating offers a wide range of colour options. If balustrades are for external use hot dip galvanising protects from the elements, and the desired colour is applied over top of galvanising. Internal applications only require a powdercoat finish unless the product is intended to be installed near sea side residence then it is recommended that galvanising be applied before powdercoating colour of choice.
For your peace of mind all balustrade styles and designs are manufacture and installed to comply with City Council Regulations.
